Technical information

Assusoft is developed using Microsoft .Net version 1.1. Using this platform enables us and the IT department of our customers use simple but effective deployment schemes. For more information on Microsoft .Net, please visit the Microsoft Website.

One of the design goals of Assusoft, is to have minimal impact on the surrounding IT infrastructure.

Assusoft is a client/server application, where all business logic resides on the client-Tier and the database server is used pure for data storage. We support the following database servers:

• Microsoft Sql Server 2005, 2000 or 7
• Microsoft Desktop Data Engine (MSDE)
• Oracle 8, 9 or 10

MDAC 2.6 is required. When using an Oracle database, Oracle 8i Client Release 3 (8.1.7) or later is required.

• Microsoft Excel 97 or later

Communicating with Insurance company:

• Microsoft Outlook 97 (or later)
• Lotus Notes (R5 or later, with COM components installed)
